Wisconsin Health News May Luncheon: Impact of Housing on Healthcare

Where people live influences their health. And more and more healthcare organizations and others in Milwaukee are targeting efforts and resources toward improving access to affordable and safe housing.  Panelists at a Wisconsin Health News panel will talk about efforts to address lead in the city, improve access to affordable housing and what else is needed. Panelists include:

  • Mike Bare, Research and Program Coordinator, Community Advocates Public Policy Institute
  • James Mathy, Housing Administrator, Milwaukee County
  • Ellen Sexton, CEO, UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Wisconsin

The event is Tuesday, May 14 at the University Club of Milwaukee (924 East Wells Street, Milwaukee).  Lunch begins at 11:30am, with discussion starting at 12pm and running through 1pm.
